Description
Features
- 8000 C-TEC2 Engine with DSI: Introducing the most efficient and responsive 8000 engine from Arctic Cat. Fresh from our plant in St. Cloud, Minnesota, this 2-stroke engine features noticeably faster throttle response and acceleration compared with our previous 800, plus up to 30% reduction in oil consumption below 7000 rpm, 36% increase in low-end torque and 18% increase in midrange torque. Delivering a rare combination of increased power, reduced emissions, and ultra-low oil consumption, the overall crispness sets new standards for performance and rideability in the 160-hp class.
- Next-Gen Body Panels: Next-gen ZR body panels are designed to seamlessly cut through the air with as little atmospheric tension as possible. The two quick-release tabs provide easy access to the engine compartment for general maintenance.
- Arctic Drive System with TEAM Drive and Driven Clutches: The Arctic Drive System features TEAM Rapid Response II drive and Rapid Reaction BOSS driven clutch combination for smooth shifting, optimal performance, maximum durability; great serviceability; and reduced weight. The new Rapid Response II drive clutch features a roller bearing on the shaft that enables an auto adjusting belt tension design and delivers consistent performance without manual adjustments. It also features a 12.5 percent lower effective starting ratio (while maintaining the top ratio) for smoother engagement and reduced belt wear at drive-away speed, with more evenly distributed force for lower belt pressure. It’s a design that’s unique to Arctic Cat.
- Arctic Race Front Suspension with FOX 1.5 ZERO RC Shocks: ARS (Arctic Race Suspension) combines tall ski spindles and widely spaced A-arms for the greatest torsional rigidity and strength. The lower A-arms mount to the chassis at an angle from the chassis centerline, with optimal caster/camber angles to improve comfort and cornering traction while reducing bump/steer. The one-piece spindle construction with ball joints eliminates the added weight and stiction of spindle-in-housing designs. FOX® 1.5 ZERO RC shocks come with a 1.5" diameter body and feature coil-over springs for maximum small bump compliance while maintaining big bump control. They are compression and rebound adjustable for easy tuning in varying conditions.
- SLIDE-ACTION Rear Suspension with Arctic Cat IFP Shocks: The SLIDE-ACTION suspension incorporates Arctic Cat’s Torque-Sensing Link, allowing a lower and more consistent track tension; three-position rear coupling block adjustability; adjustable spring preload; and a fastened Tri-Hub rear axle assembly that’s lighter and more durable than two separate wheels. The SLIDE-ACTION design has the unique front arm that features a U-shaped slot that fits over a fixed shaft to allow a half-inch of sliding movement. The result is the full benefit of rear coupling – controlled (or eliminated) ski lift during acceleration – yet with complete use of the front arm travel at all times. Available in both 129 and 137-in. track lengths.
- Deluxe Digital Gauge: This dual configurable LCD screen gauge allows to you check all the vital information about your snowmobile and more. 14 different readings to be exact. There’s an odometer, speedometer, max RPM, 2 trip meters, engine hours, low oil light, coolant temperature, exhaust temperature, intake air temperature, battery voltage, fuel level, clock and reverse indicator.
- 12V Outlet: Running low on power? Use the 12v plug-in to charge your phone or other electrical devices while you ride.
- Hand and Thumb Warmer: While others prefer fashion over function, Arctic Cat provides both when it comes to keeping your hands warm. Our new textured grips are thinner which allow you to hold onto the handlebar with less hand fatigue and the high and low options for the hand and thumb warmers are sure keep you going all day in comfort.
- 129-in. & 137-in. Ripsaw Track with 1.25-in. Lugs: Just say the name Ripsaw™ and one of the best trail tracks out there comes to mind. The 15” wide footprint with 1.25” lugs provide excellent durability and traction on groomed or hard-pack snow. Standard Ripsaw is available in 129" or the Ripsaw II is available in 137".
- Adjustable Handlebar with 5.5-in. Riser: Our easily adjustable handlebar allows you to set the perfect position for riding comfort.
- Push-Button Reverse: Just a push of a button allows you to go from forward to reverse and back again smoothly, quickly and easily.
- ProCross - 6 Skis: This trail ski’s 6" width delivers excellent handling on hardpack snow and good flotation in loose snow. A stiff, deep keel provides positive cornering in all conditions.
- 11" Mid-Height Windshield: With all the right angles in the right places, this 11" mid-height windshield’s sleek profile allows you to see everything yet deflects the wind away.
